Is Your MBA or MiM Profile Strong Enough for HEC Paris, LBS, or INSEAD?
The MiM-Essay profile evaluation analyses six dimensions that admissions committees at top MBA and MiM programmes score every applicant on:
Your test score is benchmarked against the median admitted student score for each school on your shortlist — not generic cutoffs. For HEC Paris MiM the median is 681, LBS 681, LSE 680, UCL 700, Mannheim and WHU 600. If you are below median, the tool flags which schools are still within reach and what improvement your targets need.
International GPAs are converted to a 4.0-equivalent scale. Engineering graduates from IIT, NIT, and other top Indian institutions are evaluated against peer admits — not global averages. Commerce and humanities graduates from Delhi University, Symbiosis, and Christ University are benchmarked separately. A 75%+ score at a top Indian university is generally competitive.
For MBA programmes, 3–5 years of structured work experience is standard. For MiM programmes, 0–2 years is the norm. The evaluation scores the quality and relevance of your employer, your role progression, international exposure, and leadership responsibilities.
Admissions committees look for demonstrated leadership outside the classroom. The tool assesses whether your extracurricular profile is competitive for your target schools and flags gaps that essays and LORs would need to compensate for.
Your background, work experience, and career goals are matched against the student profile each school typically admits. ESSEC prioritises international exposure; ESCP looks for multilingual capability; NUS values Asia-Pacific career goals; Harvard and Wharton expect evidence of leadership impact.
Based on GMAT, GPA, and school fit, the tool estimates your scholarship eligibility. At HEC Paris, GMAT 700+ applicants are considered for €5,000–€20,000 scholarships. At ESSEC, merit scholarships reach €30,000. At LBS, Dean's List scholarships go to 700+ GMAT candidates. At UBC Sauder, entrance scholarships start at CAD 5,000–15,000.
This tool is built for Indian students and working professionals applying to MBA, MiM, MEM, MSBA, or MFin programmes across the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Singapore, and Australia. It is most useful if you are:
Applying to MiM programmes at HEC Paris, LBS, ESSEC, ESCP, St. Gallen, Bocconi, NUS, Warwick, or RSM Rotterdam.
2–6 years of experience, considering an MBA at Harvard, Wharton, Oxford, INSEAD, Chicago Booth, IE, Rotman, or Melbourne.
Building a shortlist across US vs UK vs Europe vs Canada vs Singapore vs Australia — unsure which mix gives the best admit-to-ROI ratio.
Received rejections last cycle and want to understand what went wrong before reapplying.
Want to know which programmes stay realistic — and which need a score improvement before you apply.
Deciding between MBA, MiM, MEM, or MSBA — and which country's programme best fits your career goals.
Want to know which schools are likely to offer merit aid — and at what level — for your GMAT and GPA.
No GMAT or GRE yet — want a shortlist of schools that accept waivers or flexible admissions.
Need a school shortlist but don't know where to begin or which schools match your profile.
MiM-Essay has advised 13,000+ Indian applicants to MBA and MiM programmes abroad, with a 98% admit rate at target schools. The tool is calibrated against real admit outcomes from this database — not generic benchmarks or publicly-available statistics. Every school's scoring weights are updated annually as new admit data comes in. It does not use AI-generated predictions; it uses actual admit and reject data from Indian applicants who went through the MiM-Essay process. Top schools like HEC Paris, ESSEC, and LBS consistently report 90%–95% placement within three months of graduation, and your profile is benchmarked against the same cohort.
